A shame it did not win. A simple puncture, in the pre-tire pressure sensor days, at the opposite end of the Le Mans track, brought their unbelievable effort - leading the race up until that point, to a rather unceremonious halt. It should have won but no one at Toyota had though of how important it is to have the car return to the pit on any three wheels. It was that simple... A drop-gorgeous car to this day!
